Project Scope:
The project involved the rehabilitation of more than 1,500 metres of 150mm diameter wastewater pipes using CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) technology. The scope also included the installation of 44 lateral junction repairs (LJRs) and comprehensive manhole rehabilitation. This work was undertaken to restore structural integrity, improve hydraulic performance, and extend the service life of the existing network while minimising disruption to the surrounding community.
Project Outcome:
Although the project is still in progress, early results indicate a significant improvement in the condition and performance of the rehabilitated pipelines. The CIPP lining and LJR installations have been completed smoothly in the initial sections, with manhole rehabilitation works underway. The project remains on track to meet quality, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring a long-term, low-maintenance solution for the wastewater network once fully completed.
