New Zealand Lining successfully completed SP1 of the project in April, delivering a comprehensive suite of trenchless rehabilitation works. The scope included the installation of over 4,500 metres of Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, 700 metres of lateral lining, more than 200 lateral junction repairs, and the rehabilitation of over 90 manholes. The successful completion of SP1 reflects the team's ability to deliver high-quality infrastructure renewal works safely, efficiently, and within the project programme.

Following the successful delivery of SP1, SP2 commenced in early July and continues the rehabilitation programme with an additional 5,000+ metres of CIPP lining. Building on the momentum and expertise demonstrated during SP1, New Zealand Lining remains committed to providing durable, cost-effective pipeline rehabilitation solutions while minimising disruption to the surrounding community and ensuring the long-term performance of the wastewater network.
