The client needed to rehabilitate the 1,500mm diameter stormwater culvert crossing the main rural road in Wharekope Rd/ Gisborne.The host pipe was in a very poor condition with longitudinal cracks through the pipe.

Project Scope:

Slip Lining existing 1500mm stormwater concrete culvert in Wharekoepae Rd with a 1,200mm diameter GRP pipes including grouting of annulus.

Project Outcome:

+The work was completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction in a harsh terrain

+ There were no safety or environmental incidents or near misses.
